• This easily grown perennial thrives in any ordinary soil given a reasonable amount of sun although rich well drained soil will produce a much better plant. The large, heart-shaped, grey-green, fuzzy leaves make an excellent ground cover, forming clumps around 12" tall and 24"+ wide getting larger as it ages.
• In summer, it bears strong, square stems 3' tall topped with several whorls of hooded, butter-yellow flowers. The interesting seedpods persist for a long-time thru winter. The seedpods make an unusual, dried flower arrangement.
• Give this plant plenty of room in your garden as it gets wider with age. If it gets too big you can split the plant in early spring and replant or gift them to a friend.
