• This bushy, deciduous shrub usually grows less than 3' tall, usually 2', with a slightly wider spread. The stems are reddish and odd leaves are margined or flushed purplish red.
• In summer they have masses of 1" wide, fluffy golden-yellow flowers with a puff of stamens in the center, all over the plant, followed by round red fruit that ripen to black.
• They continue to bloom through summer to fall so they have fruit and flowers at the same time.
