• English plantain is a pretty little herb with sward shaped leaves, all growing out from the base of the plant. In summer long stems reach up 6" to 16" high. The unusual flowers have a brown, 'cone-like' center surrounded by rows of white stamens.
• English plantain is gentile soothing expectorant used for irritated coughs and mild bronchitis, an anti inflammatory for wounds, inflamed skin or dermatitis and insect bites.
• It is very easy to grow. They will grow in a wide variety of soils and climate.
