• This is a tropical looking, but very cold hardy plant from Asia that is very exotic with it’s large tropical looking palmate foliage, that resembles that of Castor Bean foliage – Ricinus communis.
• These plants also get clusters of small white flowers, but the foliage is the best asset.
• They are stem hardy to around USDA zone 7, and they are root heardy and vigorus in my zone 6 garden and there are reports of them surviving in zone 4.
• These plants would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
