• Mixed Dwarf Cosmos. This strain of cosmos only get's 30" tall. The flowers are about 2" across and come in Pinks, Reds, Fuchsias and White. Very easy to grow from seed, does well in containers or the garden. Dwarf Cosmos are not picky about soils and are drought tolerant when mature. They make great cut flowers that last about a week. They transplant very well. Dwarf cosmos will tolerate some shade in the warmer southern states.
• If you notice a decrease in blooming, cut the plants down to 12" and they will grow back and start blooming again. Cosmos will reseed themselves readily if you don't remove spent blooms.
