• Solomon's seal is a great shade plant that produces small greenish-white dangling bell-shaped flowers that hang from gracefully arching leafy stems in May and Jun.
• Purple berries appear afterwards. Then in fall the leaves turn gold.
• Plant seeds in sun or shade. Plant in late fall so seeds can go through a cold moist period before germinating in the spring. Space 9-12" apart. Store seeds in fridge until ready to plant. Germination can take up to 2 years, but is well worth the wait.
